1990 January: Announces “Mission 2000”, along with long range plan for the future of the Moo Duk Kwan.
Mission 2000

Mission 2000 is a statement of goals or ends that comprises a vision of the
global impact of Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan by the Founder Hwang Kee.
It includes six objectives, ends or outcome statements or policies delivered to
U.S. Federation members in 1989.
1. Human Relationships (Internal – U.S.): Continue to develop the
atmosphere of respect, courtesy, friendship, brotherhood,
cooperation, goodwill within the Soo Bahk Do Membership.
2. Human Relationships (external – Global): The atmosphere
identified in number one should become consistent throughout the
world. The U.S. should be the leading energy force developing this
atmosphere.
3. Moo Do Organization: We are a martial (Moo Do) organization and
we must continue to develop properly.
4. Administration of the Organization: The officers and the Board of
Directors should take a more active role regarding the administration
of the Federation.
5. Members’ Organization: This is a members’ organization. We must
all work to produce a caring and helpful atmosphere for mutual
benefit.
6. Financial Stability: We should take a more aggressive approach
toward creating a more financially stable organization.
1990 March: Conducted International Seminar, London, England.
1990 March: Conducted National Clinics in Belgium, Italy, and Greece.
1990 April: Organized special Ko Dan Ja meeting of Korean Soo Bahk Do Association Moo Duk Kwan in Korea.
1991 March: Conducted the FIRST Yuk Ro clinics presenting material and movements translated from the Moo Yei Do Bo Tong Ji.
1991 December: International demonstration and clinic, Mar Del Plata, Argentina.
1992 March: Authored & published 424 pages of Soo Bahk Do (Korean Version) describing the Yuk Ro, Ship Dan Keum and Hwa Sun movements from the Moo Yei Do Bo Tong Ji.
1992 March: Conducted Yuk Ro and Chil Sung Hyung clinics, Headquarters, Seoul, Korea.
1992 June: Attended the International Demonstration and Clinics at Athens, Greece.
1992 November: Published Soo Bahk Do (Tang Soo Do) Volume II (English Version of Soo Bahk Do Dae Kham).
1993: Presented an award for “his Contributions to better human relations” by the New York Korean Association.
1993 April: Conducted the annual European clinic, Bruxelles, Belgium.
1993 June: Published History of Moo Duk Kwan (Korean Version).
1993 August: Published Moo Do Chul Hahk ( Korean Version).
1993 August: Published Instructional Guides for Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan (4 Volumes).
1993 November: The 1st Youth Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Goodwill Championship, Zurich, Switzerland.
1994 February: Official announcement of the Moo Duk Kwan 50th Anniversary event in Seoul, Korea.
1994 June: Annual European Clinic and meeting for preparing the European Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, Bruxelles, Belgium.
1994 September: International Youth Goodwill Championship, Zurich, Switzerland.
1994 September: Official birth of the European Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, Zurich, Switzerland
1994 October: Appointed Task force member for future Mexican National Moo Duk Kwan Federation.
1994 October: Last time Hwang Kee attends the Ko Dan Ja, in the United States.
1994 December: Published Limited Edition for the Instructional Guides (Hardcover, all four volumes).
1995 January: Sponsored Technical Advisory Committee meeting, San Diego, California .

1996 August 3rd: The U.S. Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation Inc. changed its name to the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation Inc.
1997 October 14th: Mrs. Hwang Kee, Cho Kyung Kap passes away at the age of 83 (married to Hwang Kee for 69 years)
2000's
2000 October: 55th Anniversary Celebration of the Moo Duk Kwan. -Millennium visit to Seoul, Korea for Hwang Kee from Worldwide students.
2000 November: 1st Moment with the Masters held with Ko Dan Ja testing.
2002 October: 1st Korean Ko Dan Ja week long Testing at Dae Doon Mountain.
2002 July 14th: Hwang Kee passes away. ( 88/89 yrs old **depending on Korean birth traditions)
In accordance with U.S. Federation Charter & Bylaws, Hwang Kee's successor was previously named in a sealed document entrusted to the United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation®
The United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation® Board of Directors later re-confirmed and documented the legitimacy of the transition of the Moo Duk Kwan® presidency to H.C. Hwang, Kwan Jang Nim.
Resolution Affirming the Appointment of H.C. Hwang as Life-President
of the United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, Inc.
WHEREAS,
Kwan Jang Nim Hwang Kee, who founded the Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan martial art system and served as the life President of the United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, Inc. passed July 14, 2002, 7:05pm in Seoul, Korea;
WHEREAS,
Kwan Jang Nim Hwang Kee named his successor in a sealed document retained in a safety deposit box of the First Union Bank, Springfield, New Jersey, USA;
WHEREAS,
as specified and in accordance with the Charter and bylaws of the US Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, Inc. the document naming the successor to Kwan Jang Nim, signed by Kwan Jang Nim Hwang Kee, was opened, witnessed and confirmed August 1, 2002 by Lee Schumacher Sa Bom Nim, Chair of the Board of Directors, Mary Ann Walsh Sa Bom Nim representing the Technical Advisory Committee, Hyun Chul (Jin Mun) Hwang Sa Bom Nim, U.S. Designee, and other senior dan members and officials;
WHEREAS,
the translation of the succession document was confirmed by a member of the Senior Advisory Committee, Wha Yong Chung Sa Bom Nim in a public statement made at the National Championships August 3, 2002;
WHEREAS,
the succession document naming Hyun Chul (Jin Mun) Hwang as Kwan Jang Nim and subsequent confirmation of Hyun Chul (Jin Mun) Hwang as the named successor to Kwan Jang Nim are a matter of public record in statements read at the 2002 National Championships and published and disseminated to the general membership in the Fall 2002 newsletter of the US Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, Inc.;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,
that the Board of Directors of the US Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, Inc. publicly affirms the authenticity and validity of the succession of Hyun Chul (Jin Mun) Hwang as Kwan Jang Nim of Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan and his appointment as life-President of the United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, Inc.
